We Won’t Give Up On Your American Dream

Last updated on July 30, 2026

If the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has denied your petition, the fight is not finished yet. Our immigration law team at KB Law PLLC has the experience, knowledge and ability to appeal the decision. We have helped numerous clients throughout Minnesota file successful appeals for a variety of visa petitions, including employment visas, fiancé visas, relative visas and more. Don’t give up hope – instead, get our help.

How Can I File An Appeal?

There are two avenues for immigration appeals. The one you pursue depends on your unique circumstances. The options include:

  1. Filing an appeal with the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), which handles appeals of determinations made by the USCIS such as employment visas, family visas and more. You must file your appeal within 30 days.
  2. Filing an appeal with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), which handles verdicts made by immigration judges, including final removal proceedings and asylum cases. You must also file these within 30 days.

If the AAO or the BIA issue an unfavorable decision, you may still have hope: You can file with a federal court of appeals or the United States District Court. As litigators, we are prepared to pursue this option aggressively with the knowledge that your future depends on our success.

Personally Invested In Your Journey

To us, your appeal is more than just paperwork. It is possibly your last chance to fulfill your dream of immigrating to the United States. Our founding attorney, Karen Bryan, is an immigrant from Jamaica. As such, she and our entire team care deeply about putting in a full effort to set you up for a successful future in the states.
